I joined Covenant House Greater Washington in September 2017. In my role as Primary Youth Advisor, I am responsible for providing services to marginally housed transitional-age youth, this includes making sure we maintain a safe, healthy, and appropriate environment. Additionally, my goal is to offer guidance by reviewing young people’s goals and objectives, and measuring their progress within the organization. 

What keeps me motivated:  Knowing I can make a difference in the lives of our young people. I love hearing their success stories after they leave our programs. 

Something most people don't know about me: That this has always been my dream – to help the less fortunate youth. Every resilient young person particularly in Washington DC's Ward 8 – which is where I was raised – deserves a fighting chance to become something great! 

The biggest impact on our youth: The biggest impact that I’ve seen our organization have on a young person’s life, is letting them know that someone cares. Unfortunately, many of our youth come from a place where they believe no one has ever cared for them and they have constantly been met with disappointments – but not here. At Covenant House, we treat everyone as equal regardless of your background, sex, religion, or race.

I truly love being a part of the team.
